Speaker Information

EuroMed2026 is a 100% online conference with no in-person attendance in Limassol. Registration is required. Please review the requirements below for delivering your presentation live online.

Guidelines

Please Note: Presenting your paper live during your assigned session remains a strict prerequisite for official publication.

Presentation Timing & Format

  • Total Duration: Each paper is allotted a strict 15-minute window.
  • Structure: We highly recommend planning for 13 to 14 minutes of presentation followed by 1 to 2 minutes for comment from the Session Chair.
  • Language: All slides and live spoken commentary must be delivered entirely in English.

Technical File Specifications

  • File Types: Presentations must be built as a single file using Microsoft PowerPoint (.PPTX) or Adobe PDF (.PDF).
  • Aspect Ratio: All slides must be formatted in a 16:9 widescreen layout.
  • External Media: Any audio tracks, video clips, or hyperlinked animations must be fully embedded directly into the presentation file to minimise lag during screen sharing.
  • Advance Submission: To ensure smooth session transitions and provide a technical backup, all presentation files must be submitted in advance. Late changes or manual file uploads on the day of the session cannot be accommodated.

Attendance & Live Delivery Rules

  • Online Check-In Requirement: You must join your designated online session and identify yourself to the Session Chair at least 10 minutes before the scheduled session start time.
  • Missing Slots: Speakers who are absent at the start of the session or when their assigned slot begins will be pushed to the very end of the session order.
  • No-Show Policy: Presenters who miss their live session without notifying the Conference Chair in advance will be officially recorded as a “no-show”. Their paper will be removed from the conference record and will not be published.

Advice for Presenters

  • Preparation: Ensure your internet connection, microphone, camera and presentation software are ready, and close all unnecessary background tabs or apps before your slot begins.
  • Attire: Wear simple, solid-coloured clothing and avoid busy stripes or patterns.
  • Delivery: Face the camera while speaking rather than reading from your slides to maintain engagement with the online audience.
  • Timing: Rehearse your talk to fit the 15-minute window; the Session Chair will keep sessions strictly on schedule.
